Known for its wooden rollercoaster, classic shows, and the famous Old West Ghost Town, this theme park is an American favorite. ![]() The park had its humble beginnings as a small family farm, where Walter and Cordelia Knott sold farm-grown berries, pies, and jams from a roadside stall before eventually transforming their place into the theme park loved by the world. Millions of guests have counted on us for exactly that, and we will continue to deliver on that promise for generations to come. We believe these changes will help ensure that Knott's Berry Farm continues to have a positive atmosphere where generations of families and friends can gather for a day of safe fun and good food. This chaperone requirement applies to all Knott's Berry Farm ticket and season passholders. Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. Visitors can participate in the Berry Style Stroll at 3 o'clock on the Calico Mine Stage to display their festive attire and be a part of the special group photo to commemorate this national holiday. A special National Boysenberry Day button will be distributed to visitors as they enter the park to celebrate the occasion. Guests are encouraged to dress in bowties, gloves, jackets, or pin-up skirts for the occasion.
